Tom & Kaminee finally Tied The Thali 😌 They had a beautiful ceremony in a little garden by the beach (which I'll definitely be blogging soon if I haven't already by the time you read this!) and after everything, we headed off to a secluded cove for some alone time and it was the best thing ever. These two are absolutely beautiful together, inside and out. I can't tell you how much we laughed together through the day. having crossed paths and being able to be a part of their day is an experience I'll cherish for a long time to come, really.
I get a lot of questions that revolve around documenting people like this. How do you get couples this way? Though there are so many aspects to it, I’ll leave you with just one very important one today - Time.
Connecting with people is my favourite thing and yes, it does come very naturally to me but getting people to connect with one another? That’s a whole other ballgame and it really takes time, which, when it comes to some wedding days, is a privilege and a luxury to have. Some people refer to it as slow-paced shooting and though we’re always up and about, running on adrenaline, anticipating every moment that’s about to unfold on a wedding day, dialling it down and tuning in to documenting lovers the way I see them is truly an experience that pulls on all my heartstrings every single time.
Time is of the essence, and this applies to every facet of creating Honest Imagery
Oh & Penang, you're gorgeous.
